Privacy Policy
Draft, pending legal review. This page states Sqilleo's current working position, taken from internal drafts. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and will be replaced with final wording before the apps go on sale.
This page describes the Sqilleo website at www.sqilleo.com. The Sqilleo apps are not yet released, and their own privacy disclosures are published with them.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking
This website carries no analytics service, no advertising network, and no third-party tracking script. Nothing here builds a profile of you, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to ask consent for.
Simply reading these pages sets no cookie at all.
The one cookie
The site sets a single cookie, sqilleo_locale, and only when you pick a language and press Apply in the selector at the bottom of the landing page.
It stores that language code and nothing else — no identifier, no history, nothing that names you. It lasts one year, it is readable only by the server, and it is not shared with anyone. Clearing your browser's cookies removes it, and the site works without it.
When you email us
Writing to support@sqilleo.com reaches Sqilleo's support mailbox. We keep the message so we can answer it and follow up if the same issue comes back.
Applicants
Draft for legal review · not published · version and date are set at publication
If you apply to become a creator, we process: the account you signed in with (provider identifier and the e-mail or relay address it gives us); the display name, country, languages, category, social-profile links and audience figures, work links and pitch you enter; an optional contact e-mail address; the time and version of the terms you accepted; and the network address your submission came from.
Purpose: to review and decide your application, to contact you about it, to keep a record of the decision, and to prevent abuse.
Legal basis: steps at your request before entering a contract; our legitimate interest in keeping a consistent record of decisions and in preventing abuse.
Recipients: the Sqilleo owner and content administrators; our hosting provider and e-mail delivery provider acting on our instructions.
Decisions are taken by a person; we do not make automated decisions about applications.
Retention: applications that are not selected or are withdrawn are erased, with the decision reason, twelve months after the decision, or earlier when you delete your account; accepted applications become part of your creator record.
Applicants must be at least 18. You may withdraw at any time (section 8 of the Creator Application Terms) and exercise the rights in section 7 of this Policy.
Creator Studio sign-in
Creator Studio is a separate, sign-in-only area for approved creators; it is not part of this public site. Creators sign in with Google, and Sqilleo receives the account information Google provides for that sign-in.
Applying to the Creator Network sends Sqilleo the details entered on the application form so the application can be reviewed.
